1.General Gas Ptfe Tape Use is used for wrapping and sealing the threads of iron, copper, brass, plastic, glass or rubber pipes to ensure leak proof connections.

2.High Density Gas Ptfe Tape Use( 0.50 to 0.70 gm/cm3) is best for thread seal applications where quicker build-up and stronger puncture resistance is required.

3.Highest Density Gas Ptfe Tape Use 0.80 gm/cm3 is designed for the most demanding and toughest applications. And the best choice is for deep and large threaded fittings -provides best coverage quickly with minimum wraps.

4.High Density Gas Ptfe Tape Use 0.90 gm/cm3 is designed specifically for Gas Lines of all types- natural gas, butane and propane. It is identified by light yellow color.

5.High Density Gas Ptfe Tape Use 1.20 gm/cm3 is for nickel pigment additive ensures proper leak proof seal on all stainless steel fittings - even coarse ones. It prevents galling, seizing, and corrosion. It is identified by light gray color.

1.Remove any dirt and metal shavings from the thread before application of PTFE tape.

2.Put the tape on the thread joint in the direction of inclination of the thread.

3.Apply the tape with an even, firm pull to be tight-fitting about the thread.

4.Dependent on wanted thickness of layer the overlap should be from ½ to ¾ tape width but when using this low density P.T.F.E. tape also more.

5.After assembling of the thread joints you should not disassemble o turn back on the joint.
